Xbox Series X|S outsold in Japan again than PS5
Xbox Series X and S game consoles produced by Microsoft have reached more sales figures than PlayStation 5 in Japan.

Some remarkable news from the land of the rising sun: Xbox Series X|S consoles outsold the PS5 there last week. Japan has always had an obvious preference for PlayStation, so it’s weird… isn’t it?
You can probably guess why: the PS5 is still hard to get today due to the chip shortage. Since Xbox consoles can be found on shelves later, they sell better. This isn’t the first time the Xbox has outperformed the PlayStation, by the way, it was the first time last month, and that history is now repeating itself, as Famitsu’s sales numbers prove.
Last week, 3,272 Xbox Series X consoles and 3,423 Xbox Series S models were sold. The PS5 stood at 2,371 copies, and the digital PS5 console was sold only 664 times. However, if we look at the overall figures, the PS5 continues to lead by selling 1.45 million units against 108,000 Xbox consoles sold.
