The Lord of the Rings: Gollum release date revealed
Nacon has finally revealed the release date, platforms and information about the highly anticipated game Lord of the Rings: Gollum.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been scheduled for a 2022 release for some time, but a release date has been predicted so far. However, as the release date has been set, Nacon has some good news to report today. The game will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 1, 2022.
The game is also coming to Nintendo Switch this year, though this version alone has yet to receive a specific release date. Alongside the release date announcement, the publisher also shared another overview of the game, see below.
“The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, based on JRR Tolkien’s legendary Lord of the Rings book trilogy, chronicles Gollum’s experiences behind the scenes in the first chapters of The Fellowship of the Ring.
After losing his precious ring to Bilbo Baggins, Gollum decides to leave the Misty Mountains and embarks on a perilous journey that takes him from the dungeons of Barad-dur to the realm of the Wood Elves in Mirkwood.
Gollum must sneak and climb and use all his cunning to avoid the perils of his journey through Middle-earth. He also has to contend with his Hobbit-self, Smeagol. When it comes to important decisions, it’s up to the players to choose whether to let Gollum dominate or let Sméagol take over.
Gollum also meets well-known characters from the books and a few new faces.”
