Star Wars Eclipse Announced with a Perfect Trailer
Star Wars Eclipse, the new game of Quantic Dream, was announced with an excellent trailer. Fantastic world of the game draws attention.
Quantic Dream announced the adventure game, set in the High Republic era, during the 2021 The Game Awards event. The game will take place in the golden age of the Jedi Order and the Republic, centuries before the Skywalker story.
The High Republic started last year as an ambitious multimedia project, but so far it has mostly focused on a series of interconnected books and comics exploring the Jedi Order and its fight against the Nihil, a new group of raiders that use unique hyperspace technology to raid.
Quantic Dream is known for interactive narrative titles such as Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human. It looks like Star Wars: Eclipse will be different from the studio’s usual games and will come across as an action-adventure.
Star Wars Eclipse is being co-developed with Lucasfilm Games and is in earlier development and no release date is given. It is still unclear on which platforms the game will be released.
