Sony registered new PlayStation 5 model in Japan
Sony introduced the highly anticipated new PlayStation 5 model in Japan. Here are the features of the new model

Don’t worry, it’s not (yet) the Pro version of the console that many people are still looking for. For now, it’s just about some internal changes. As Sony has already mentioned, due to persistent chip shortages, they are looking for any way to produce as many PS5s as possible so gamers can get their hands on them as quickly as possible.
The launch model had a product number in the CFI-1XXX series, then the CFI-11XX series, and now the CFI-12XX series is registered in Japan. What we do know is that the model differs due to the updated radio equipment. This can also refer to Wi-Fi signals. So it looks like a minor internal change. It is unknown whether this will affect the production of the console.
