Sony is working on TV shows Horizon, God of War and Gran Turismo
Sony stated in a corporate presentation that Horizon, God of War, and Gran Turismo will all have their own TV shows.
A TV series about The Last of Us is being worked on, and Twisted Metal is getting the same treatment. Also, Sony released the Uncharted movie earlier this year. This shows that Sony is looking to further expand its IPs in terms of entertainment formats. So it should come as no surprise that TV adaptations of the three major franchises are being worked on.
The God of War show has yet to be seen on Amazon Prime, and the Horizon show on Netflix and Gran Turismo. The Last of Us then airs via HBO, so Sony works with various partners and chooses a different platform for each game.
We don’t know much more than we do in the studies, so it will take some time for more information to be published.
