Sony Announces, PlayStation 5 price rises
PS5 price is on the rise. Sony increased the PlayStation 5 list price due to high inflation and the current economic situation.
It’s still hard to get hold of the PlayStation 5. If you want to buy a PS5 now, it’s no more fun because the recommended retail price of the console is also going up.
According to Sony, the current economy and high inflation means they have to increase the price of the PS5 by 50 euros. This applies to both versions. The PlayStation 5 disc version will be €549.99 and the digital version will be €449.99. When we look at the dollar basis, the price increase will be around 60 dollars.
This price increase is also valid in Asia, South America, Australia and Canada. However, the United States survived. The reason for this is unknown.
