Santorini Island Map Will Be Added To PUBG Mobile
The new 8V8 arena battles in PUBG MOBILE will be added to the new map inspired by the Isle of Santorini and bringing the iconic structures of the Greek island.
PUBG MOBILE, one of the most popular mobile games in the world, announced the release of a brand new arena map based on the stunning Greek island of Santorini for players in collaboration with the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
Shaped by ancient volcanic eruptions, Santorini is also known as one of the most popular Greece destinations for all travelers around the world.
The new collaboration brings world-famous island landmarks to PUBG MOBILE’s new ‘Santorini Arena Map’, including the island’s iconic blue roofs, whitewashed houses and stepped streets, as well as stunning ocean views for players to explore and enjoy.
The Santorini Arena Map offers a new 8V8 Clan war experience where players traverse the hills of the island. In 8V8 Team Deathmatch mode, players have unlimited respawns and gain 1 point for each enemy they eliminate. The first team to reach the elimination goal within the time limit wins the battle. While in 8v8 Arena Training mode, players are free to pick up any weapon at the spawn point without having to specify a gear. The new ‘Santorini’ 8V8 Map can be accessed by selecting Unranked and Arena on the Mode Selection screen.
