Rumor: Dead Island 2 Release Date Set to 2022

In an episode of the Sacred Symbols podcast, journalist Colin Moriarty claims that Dead Island 2 will be released in 2022. Heard about it from some “trusted sources”.

According to Moriarty, new information about the game will come this summer and the game will not be announced until September or October of this year at the earliest.

Moriarty is not alone in asserting the above. Earlier in February, Tom Henderson announced that according to his sources, the game is in good shape and a gameplay trailer will be revealed soon.

Publisher Deep Silver previously confirmed that Dead Island 2 is still “in active development” during a Q&A session with Embracer Group CEO Lars Wingefors.
