RTX 4070 Ti: Graphics Card Prices Announced – Also Out of Stock
There is no official price yet, but many vendors are already offering the RTX 4070 Ti. We can say that the prices were higher than we expected
Nvidia had done itself a disservice with the announcement of the RTX 4080 12 GB. When the graphics card was announced in September alongside its bigger siblings, the RTX 4080 16GB and RTX 4090, the echo was pretty unanimous: the card was too expensive and had the wrong name.
Nvidia drew the right conclusions and initially pulled the card from the market. However, after a short time, the following rumor came from ear to ear: The canceled graphics card would come back as the RTX 4070 Ti on January 5th.
Many players were hoping that Nvidia would not only give the card a new name, but also replace the RRPs of $900 or €1100. However, the initial dealer prices of the card, which has not yet been officially introduced, already indicate that this situation is more likely to turn into a fort in the air.
Chinese pre-order prices: No cheaper cards?
As Wccftechs reports, several Chinese retailers are already listing the RTX 4070 Ti as pre-order offers. A total of ten special models of the RTX 4070 Ti can already be found.

How fast will the upcoming RTX 4070 Ti be? First benchmark leak revealed
According to Wccftech’s assessment, the prices given should be quite realistic for the Asian market. An assessment that we share cautiously.
If you convert the yuan prices of graphics cards directly to euro, you will be satisfied at first glance. The cheapest special models cost 7199 yuan, just around 970 euros. However, caution is advised here.
A one-to-one conversion is only meaningful in very few cases, as prices for different markets can sometimes differ greatly. And if you compare the Chinese RRP of the RTX 4080 12 GB with the pre-order prices, it becomes clear: It seems that nothing has changed here. Because the RTX 4080 12 GB should have gone up to 7200 RMB in Founders Edition.
These signs currently leave little hope that the RTX 4070 Ti will appear at a much lower price point. Of course, an official release price is still expected, so Nvidia may positively surprise us here.
Serbian trader raises RTX 4070 Ti prices
The early offer from a Serbian hardware dealer is much higher. User /r/CouncilorIrissa shared a post on Reddit, according to which the dealer ignored the pending announcement of Nvidia’s new card and was already offering the RTX 4070 Ti in its store.
The asking price was 154,999 Serbian dinars, which corresponds to around 1320 euros. This means the RTX 4070 Ti will be priced at almost the RTX 4080 16GB RRP at a retailer in Europe.
However, with an early offer like that of the Serbian retailer, it’s common for the strike opportunity to be paid appropriately before release. The RTX 4070 Ti probably won’t come at such a high price.
But what about the performance of the RTX 4070 Ti? Of course, official test results are still awaited, but the first leaks at least show us what to expect from the resurrected card.
