PS5 console sold over 20 million times and Sony ramps up production
Sony: It announced that it has sold more than 20 million PlayStation 5 consoles and increased its production capacity.
Although it is still difficult to buy PlayStation 5, sales continue to rise steadily. In his meeting with Gamesindustry, Sony PlayStation made another update on the current situation. A nice milestone has been reached, the console has passed 20 million sales.
The console has achieved this in roughly a year and a half, and despite the ongoing shortcomings in its components, it can be called very clean. In addition, Sony states that they will significantly increase console production for the rest of the year. This means more consoles can be shipped faster.
This is of course good news, but it is not known how much more Sony can produce compared to the past period.
