MultiVersus Season 1 delayed
Multiversus was expected to be released on August 9, 2022, but due to unknown reasons, the season 1 release date was delayed.
On August 9, the first season of MultiVersus will kick off, which will feature a ranked mode and, perhaps more importantly, Morty joining Uncle Rick. Developer Player First Games announced on Twitter that Season 1 will be delayed a bit more.
Unfortunately, the reason for the delay is unknown. No new release date has been announced yet. It has been announced that the current season, called ‘pre-season’, will be extended until August 15. Therefore, players have a little more time to check out all the content from this season. Strangely enough, there is no mention of ranked mode in posts about procrastination, so there’s a chance it will still be available as of August 9.
