Microsoft may release Xbox Game Pass ‘Family Plan’

Windows Central reports this based on its own sources. This is a ‘Family Plan’ that allows multiple members of the same family to use the service. It’s similar to what Nintendo did with the Switch Online Family Plan.

The website is very confident, but additional details are unfortunately unknown. As such, it’s still unclear when Microsoft intends to launch it and what its monthly price will be. They report that the highest tier of this particular service allows up to five different players and is therefore very interesting for large families.

“According to reliable sources familiar with Microsoft’s efforts, we can confirm that Xbox is moving forward with an Xbox Game Pass Family Plan that should launch later this year.”

If true, and this new subscription form should be released this year, we will undoubtedly hear more in the not too distant future.
