Kingdom Hearts 4 Officially Announced With First Trailer
As you can read earlier today, there were many hints of Kingdom Hearts 4's existence during the franchise's 20th anniversary celebrations.

Thankfully, after the special, Square Enix released a video on their official channel today featuring a host of new announcements, including Kingdom Hearts 4.
It seems a little early for the release date, but the trailer gives a glimpse of what we can expect from the next installment of the popular series. In the trailer, we see Sora in the Quadratum as ‘unreal’. In Quadratum, he is greeted by Strelitzia, the character we’ve only seen before in the smartphone game Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross].
The world of Quadratum is very similar to our own modern world and is clearly rooted in contemporary Tokyo. Heartless is here too, so we’re seeing a massive Darkside Heartless launching cars into the air, among other things. It sounds very Final Fantasy and very little Disney, but don’t worry because the protagonists Donald and Goofy will be back as well.
You can watch the brand new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 below. The game’s release date and platforms have yet to be announced, but the 20th anniversary celebrations have just begun, so we can expect more news this year.
