Elden Ring, Easy Mode and Hard Mode Now Possible to Choose

Elden Ring is celebrating huge success, so many outside of the Souls fan base should take a look at the new action-adventure. New players should quickly spot the hard difficulty level. On the other hand, some Souls veterans are uncomfortable with the whole controversy and would like Elden Ring to be even harder. Fortunately, there are now mods that make exactly that possible for both parties.

Elden Ring Easy Mode

If you think Elden Ring is too hard, this mod will help you. All changes at a glance:

• Reduces enemy damage by 50%
• Your damage is increased by 25%
• You get 10 times more runes for each enemy dropped

How to Install Easy Mode

Even mod novices needn’t be afraid. To install easy mode, all you have to do is exchange a file and disable the anti-cheat tool. You can download the mod here.

Elden Ring Hard Mode

All die-hard FromSoftware veterans can try this mod again. But even the moderator warns you against a truly extreme challenge. Moderator Silentverge02 adjusted not only values, but also enemy AI. Sneaking around your enemies should become important as they need to see you sooner and act smarter.

But the mod is not quite finished yet, so changes are constantly being made. The mod can be downloaded here. Overview of all edits:

• Damage and defense increased to NG+ levels
• Improved enemy AI
• Fast Travel now only works at Grace Places of Grace inside Churches
• FOV increased
• NG+ 1-7 stats adjusted accordingly
