DIY Perks produce the first PlayStation 5 Slim, only 2 centimeters tall

As a console, the PlayStation 5 is quite a heavy device, and if Sony follows the tradition, sooner or later a smart model will emerge. But the question is whether this will happen in the short term, as there is still a shortage of components. Meanwhile, the DIY Perks tech paid off and managed to shrink the console down.

The result is a 2 centimeter thick ‘console’ with all cooling elements more or less removed from the system. However, cooling is important and an alternative solution has been replaced with a large power unit placed outside the display.

The minimal design of this PlayStation 5 Slim is therefore perhaps a little too enthusiastic because not all components are included. Still a nice video and an attempt to rebuild the PlayStation 5.
