Blizzard’s new game, Diablo Immortal, also launches on PC since June 2nd. However, so far, startup on Android and iOS has been anything but smooth, as reports on Reddit, among other things, show.

Not only graphical errors on Samsung smartphones, but also crashes and annoying error messages spoil the fun of many fans before they even begin. We have summarized the current status of the problems for you.

Graphics errors on Samsung devices

Accordingly, especially on Samsung devices with Exynos chip, graphics errors and other problems that sometimes make it impossible to play appear. According to their own statement, Blizzard is aware of the issue and is already working on a solution.

The game is no longer even appearing on the Android Playstore on affected devices, we can confirm this from our own experience using a Galaxy Note 10+. The following Samsung models are mentioned in the related Reddit post:

Galaxy A12
Galaxy A13
Galaxy A21s
Galaxy A51 5G
Galaxy One Quantum
Galaxy S10e
Galaxy S10
Galaxy S10+
Galaxy S10 5G
Galaxy Note10
Galaxy Note10 5G
Galaxy Note10+
Galaxy Note10+ 5G
galaxy F12
galaxy F62
galaxy M12
galaxy M13
Galaxy M62
Galaxy XCover 5
However, even the list of affected devices listed doesn’t seem complete. At least other affected players are reporting issues with other Samsung devices as well, such as the Galaxy Tab A8 or Galaxy XCover Pro.

On the other hand, we were able to download Diablo Immortal with the aforementioned Note 10+ without any problems and play it without any graphical errors while the download is still available. So the situation is a bit confusing at the moment, but we’re in contact with Blizzard to shed some light on this and will update this article with new information as needed.

There are also complaints about the graphical glitches issue on the Blizzard official forums.

More issues with Diablo Immortal

In addition to the difficulties with graphics errors on Samsung devices, there are other problems:

Some players with iPhones are reporting on Reddit that the game launches and downloads 100 percent of the necessary updates, but after a reboot or crash, the procedure starts all over again. A complete uninstall and freeing up additional storage seems to partially fix the issue, but so far there is no official statement about it.
Diablo Immortal will not be available for download on certain phones that actually meet the system requirements (mainly affecting Xiaomi devices). According to a forum post, Blizzard is working on fixing the issue.
An error occurs when logging in with a Battle.net account due to different regions. This can occur especially if the region associated with the account has changed in the past. As an immediate solution, Blizzard states that it will create a new account, but there is already work in the background to resolve this issue.
However, complaints about the inability to use ultra graphics settings are not about a bug. According to the official FAQ, ultra settings are only available on PC and certain iPads. You can find out exactly what they are from this link.
