Cyberpunk 2077 approaches 20 million copies sold
CD Projekt RED isn't complaining about the results in sales. The developer has announced that the game has now sold over 18 million copies.
We don’t need to tell anyone that Cyberpunk 2077 has a bumpy road. It was a serious matter even shortly after its release, as many players have asked for their money back due to the game’s awful state, and Sony has temporarily withdrawn the game from the PlayStation Store.
All went well in the end and CD Projekt RED cannot complain about the result in sales. The developer has announced that the game has now sold over 18 million copies. Shortly after its release, the game sold 14 million copies, which means that in less than a year and a half, there will be an extra 4 million sales increase. Additionally, CD Projekt RED stated that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has sold more than 40 million copies, bringing the franchise’s total number of copies to over 65 million.
