Release date announced for Atomic Heart: News from the Game
The release date of the first-person shooter game, which came to the fore with its visually impressive trailers, has been announced.

Even before its release, Atomic Heart presents a special and unconventional game world in various trailers. In the latest trailer from the Russian development studio, we’re not only getting new gameplay fodder, but we’re finally getting a tangible release date:
To be published in February 2023
As explained in the new trailer, Atomic Heart will be released on February 21, 2023. The shooter was originally scheduled for Q4 of 2022, but the trailer now confirms the aforementioned delay. The developers have yet to reveal why they agreed on the new date, but as early as 2019 there were rumors that the studio was unable to find a clear line for the shooter and therefore stopped development.
What kind of game will Atomic Heart be?
Atomic Heart is a first-person shooter where you experience the story of a Russian secret agent. In an alternate reality, the Soviet Union succeeded in creating a paradise world thanks to significant technological advances in robotics. But it looks like something went wrong and you need to get to the bottom of things at a secret research facility. Robots have taken control there and are hostile to you.
The game is characterized above all by its extraordinary world and creature design that mixes Soviet influences with retrofuturism. You can already see the result in the new trailer, and this video shows you how the shooter actually looks in the game:
In Atomic Heart, you not only wield a wide variety of melee and long range weapons, but you also defeat your opponents with elemental and telekinetic powers – says hello to Bioshock.
The game is usually greeted with a good dose of skepticism, as Atomic Heart comes from a fairly unknown studio and promises an almost incredible experience in the trailers.
